Keto vs DASH Diet for Post-Menopausal Women
While both of these diets work well for either gender, our focus today is on the needs of post-menopausal women, and why they should carefully weigh the pros and cons of both diets. The DASH diet, which prioritizes well-rounded nutrition, might be a better option for long-term health and addressing concerns related to heart and bone health. However, it’s important to take into account personal preferences, existing health conditions, and weight management goals.
There are always pros and cons when trying to find the right diet for your age, gender, and overall health needs. And there are so many diet plans trending, that it’s hard to know what will work for everyone and what will only work for some. I’m sorry to say there “really” is no magic pill that we can buy OTC and lose the excess weight associated with aging. It takes commitment and work, period. I did my best Ralph Nader imitation and tried just about every new diet pill or powder out there and not a pound was lost. Yes, I followed the suggestions for each experiment.
That being said, we’re going to explore the differences between the Keto and DASH diets. This is not all comprehensive, there is so much more to learn. This is more of a condensed version.
